This Privacy Policy explains how the workout4all website (workout4all.eu) handles information about its visitors. workout4all is a European Union co-funded project (Project Number 101245695). The website shows an interactive map of street workout and calisthenics locations.
Information we collect
We do not ask visitors to create an account or to give personal data in order to browse the website. We only process:
- Technical data that any web server receives when a page is requested, such as IP address, browser type, date and time of the visit and the page requested. This is kept in the hosting provider’s server logs for security and troubleshooting.
- Language preference, stored in a small cookie so the website remembers the language you chose (see our Cookie Policy).
- Information you send us voluntarily, for example the details of a location you submit through the external form linked from the map page.
How we use it
- To show the website and keep it secure and working properly.
- To remember your language choice.
- To review and, where appropriate, add the locations suggested by visitors to the map.
Third-party services
Some features load content from other providers, which may receive your IP address when your browser contacts them:
- OpenStreetMap map tiles, which draw the map background.
- unpkg.com, a content delivery network that serves the Leaflet map library.
- Google Forms, used for the “add a location” form. Information you enter there is processed by Google under its own privacy policy.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority. To exercise these rights, contact the website administrators through the contact details of the workout4all project.
Retention
Server logs are kept only for as long as needed for security and technical purposes. Form submissions are kept for as long as needed to review and publish the suggested location.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
